Introduction from LCPCG Chair

Minutes:

LCPCG Chair, Jackie Addison welcomed everyone to the meeting and noted that the plans from MOPAC mean that this will probably be the last AGM of the LCPCG.

Minutes from the 2012 AGM were agreed as a true and accurate record.

 

4.

LCPCG has received two membership applications for consideration by the membership: Lewisham Synagogue (representative Joe Burchell) and The PYE Project Ltd (representative Emmanuel Imuere).  The Strategy Group has considered each, in detail, and recommends that the LCPCG membership approve both applications .

Membership applications were received from Catford Synagogue and from PYE Project. The LCPCG members present unanimously approved both applications and so both organisations became formal members of the LCPCG.

The constitutional amendments as proposed by Strategy Group were noted. Young Citizens - Prendergast Ladywell Fields College

The LCPCG have invited the Young Citizens from Prendergast Ladywell Fields College to be the main speakers at our AGM.  They were founded in 2009 and have won awards for their community work and campaigning. The Chair introduced three young women from the Young Citizens group at Prendergast Ladywell Fields College:   Amanda Osei-Bramaih,  Camilla Yahaya and Alice Schweigert who first spoke at an LCPCG meeting three years ago when they were 13 years old.

The LCPCG Chair and other contributors have produced an Annual Report so everyone can read what we hope is a positive, balanced, interesting, and informative report of our achievements throughout the year.
