Document Mayoral response to Sustainable Development Select Committee on street lighting: variable lighting policy

The purpose of this report is to set the Council’s approach to variable lighting across street lights in the borough. The proposed variable lighting policy was discussed by the Sustainable Development Select Committee on 30 June 2015 and 12 May 2016 and a trial of variable lighting in a number of streets across the borough has been running since November 2015. This report also provides a response to the comments of the Sustainable Development Select Committee that were referred to Mayor and Cabinet on 1 June 2016.
