Councillor Ron Stockbridge

Councillor Ron Stockbridge passed away on 15 January 2011. First elected over 40 years ago, Ron has been a fixture of Lewisham life for a generation. As well as leading the Council in 1984/5 and chairing the Housing Committee, Ron was deeply involved in community life, most recently sitting on the boards of Lewisham Homes and Phoenix Community Housing.
