The residents of Longbridge Way demand communal entrances to our blocks. We demand safety!
The lack of the communal entrances have made residents subject to dangerous encounters - from intoxicated loiterers, homeless sleepers in communal areas, stabbings along with endless other anti-social behaviour, the people of Longbridge Way are forced to unpleasant situations when making their way home each day.
Lewisham Council and Lewisham Homes have been constantly warned of the urgent need for a communal entrance to our blocks. The police have been informed numerous times of the unfortunate incidents, particularly in 12 - 34 Longbridge Way. Instead, we have been met with negligence and false promises to improve our safety.
The solution is simple - the blocks of Longbridge Way deserve communal entrances and basic safety.
