The partnership has a long history of commitment to tackling the Violence against Woman and Girls agenda.   This work is supported by a unified and comprehensive approach to tackling violence against women and girls through a systemic refreshed 4 year VAWG Plan.

The DRAFT plan outlines all strands of VAWG and the focus for the next 4 years, aligning with the Safer Lewisham Plan 17/18 and the London Mayors Offices Police and Crime Plan 2017-2021.

This item provides an update on the agreed priorities for the SLP plan 17-18; peer on peer abuse, gender based violence, and all other violence.

The purpose of this report is to propose that the board seek to introduce a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to replace the existing borough wide Designated Public Place Order (DPPO) and to Dog Control Orders, as well as address other identified anti-social behaviours, and agree that a public consultation commence with stakeholders around the proposal.

A new PSPO be introduced following consultation with residents and stakeholders.

The purpose of this report is to seek the Board’s endorsement of this Local Area Profile which requires licencees, as defined via the Gambling Act 2005, to take account of the licensing authorities perception of gambling related harm whilst undertaking mandatory Local Risk Assessment’s that adequately reflect local needs, issues and subsequent risks.

Following the sign off by HMIP of the Improvement plan, this report is presented to update on progress against the Plan.  YJB will monitor this quarterly and locally we are monitoring this through the Youth Justice Management board revised structures.

This protocol outlines the cooperative relationship between the Lewisham Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB), Lewisham Safeguarding Adults Board (LSAB), Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB), Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership Board (CYPSPB) and the Safer Lewisham Partnership Board (SLPB).
