Welcome from the Chair

Welcome to the Catford South Local Assembly

Marketplace Event

This Marketplace assembly event is different to our usual style of formal meeting, but we really hope you get a lot out of it and take your chance to have actual conversations with some of the amazing local groups and people helping deliver change in the area!
At this event you get to vote at this meeting on Projects you want to fund.

There are no written minutes from this meeting as it was a full market place event. The results of the vote are stated under item 8

How to vote

·        You have been given a voting card on entry to the marketplace event. One voting card per person.

·        To be eligible to vote you must live, work or learn in Catford South ward – please add your postcode

·        Use the first 45 minutes to talk to organisations hoping to win your vote, before making your decisions.

·        The booklet gives you information on the projects

·        To vote please place a tick next to your preferred projects on the card

·        You must vote for 5projects.

Announcement of the successful Projects

Note: this announcement will be made on the night only if we can ensure counting accuracy in the timescale available.

We are very sorry that Science of Boxing were not funded this time, finishing in 8th Place – but we have assured them that we would like to continue to work with them to help provide activities for teens in our ward in future.

As is so often the case – the vote result was not straightforward and there was a 3 way tie for 7th place!
The loveliness of this community blows our minds – the 4 organisations who had applied for over £1,500 have all agreed to take a little less – so that each of the tied projects can be funded!

We are overwhelmed by the community spirit of you all – but not surprised in the least
