The Mayor considered the written views of the Overview & Scrutiny

Committee and was briefed by the Executive Director for Community Services

representative.

 

The Mayor felt that further informal discussions were required to explore the

suggestion that had been made with officers being asked to investigate the

implications of any change.

 

RESOLVED that the report be noted.

RESOLVED that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972,

the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of

business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt

information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) of the Act,

as amended by the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to

Information) (Amendments) (England) Regulations 2006 and the public

interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in

disclosing the information:-

Drug & Alcohol Service - (PCRS) Contract Extension

Decision:

Having considered an officer report, and a presentation by the Cabinet

Member for Community Safety, Councillor Janet Daby, Mayor and Cabinet

(Contracts) agreed that the contract for the provision of the Primary Care

Recovery Service (PCRS) provided by  Blenheim CDP be extended for a

period of two years until March 2020 at a stated annual value.

Minutes:

In an update to the report, the representative of the Executive Director for

Community Services stated Lewisham was now in the top quartile for

satisfactory conclusions.

 

Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation by the

Cabinet Member for Community Safety, Councillor Janet Daby, Mayor and

Cabinet (Contracts), for the reasons set out in the report:

 

RESOLVED that the contract for the provision of the Primary Care

Recovery Service (PCRS) provided by  Blenheim CDP be extended for a

period of two years until March 2020 at a stated annual value.

Decision:

Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation by the

Cabinet Member for Health, Well-Being & Older People, Councillor Chris

Best, Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) agreed that:

 

(1) a one year (1 year) extension be approved from 1st April 2018 until 31st

March 2019 of the Home Care Services Contract with the following

organisations:

 

1.         Medacs

2.         Eleanor Homecare

3.         Westminster Homecare

4.         Care Outlook Ltd

 

(2) authority be delegated to the Executive Directors for Resources and

Regeneration and Community Services to agree any inflationary increase in

April 2018 and to agree any additional increase in the contract price as a

result of an increase in the London Living Wage in 2018/2019.
