Culturally Specific Day Services for Older Adults - Award of Contracts
Decision: Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation by the Cabinet Member for Health, Well Being and Older People, Councillor Chris Best, Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) agreed that
(1) a 2 year extension be awarded to the existing contract for the delivery of a culturally specific day service for older adults to Hestia Housing & Support at a stated annual value from 29 September2017;
(2) a new 23 month contract be awarded for the delivery of the Calabash Centre Concierge Service to Hestia Housing and Support from 29 October 2017 at a stated value in year 1 and a stated value in year 2;
(3) the run on for one month of the existing contract with Lewisham Nexus Service (October 2017) at a stated cost to support due diligence by the new provider be noted;
(4) the stated annual costs to the Council that relate to utilities and other direct running costs of the building be noted; and
(5) the award of contract for the concierge service delivers a stated efficiency saving to the Council in year 1 and in year 2 on the previous stated annual price. RESOLVED that
