Provision of Passenger Transport Services
Decision: (1) a panel of taxi and passenger attendant Service Providers be approved as at Appendix A for Lewisham Council’s transport service requirements, with the bidding system (termed a Dynamic Purchasing System “DPS” under the Public Procurement Regulations 2015) initially running for 2 years and including options to extend for a further 2 years and then a further 2 years.
(2) authority be delegated to the Executive Directors for CYP and Community Services to approve new Service Providers on to the DPS; and
(3) authority be delegated to the Executive Directors of CYP and Community Services to award new and existing transport routes (“requirements”) following a short period of bidding under the DPS. RESOLVED that:

New Homes Programme Update Former Edward Street MUGA
Decision: Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation from the Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Damien Egan, Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) agreed that Perfect Circle be appointed through the Scape BECS Framework to carry out further design work at a stated cost of as set out in, takes the total value of the contract with Perfect Circle to a stated higher figure to fully design, and then oversee through to completion a precision manufactured development to be used as temporary accommodation on the site of the former Edward Street MUGA. Minutes: This item was adjourned and considered after the Mayor & Cabinet taking place the same evening.

Award of Contract of Young People's Health and Wellbeing Service
Decision: Having considered a confidential officer report, Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) agreed that the contract for the new Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Service be awarded to Compass for a period of three years, with an option to extend for a further two years at a stated total contract value for three years. Minutes: This report was not available for the original dispatch on 11 April 2017 because officers were only made aware of the need to recommend a new contract award on 31 March 2017. The report was deemed urgent and could not wait until the next meeting of the Mayor & Cabinet Contracts on May 10 2017 owing to the need to enter into a new contract as soon as possible.

RESOLVED that the contract for the new Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Service be awarded to Compass for a period of three years, with an option to extend for a further two years at a stated total contract value for three years.
