That subject to amending the Relocation Strategy wording to “The developer will ensure all reasonable endeavours to assist existing occupiers in their relocation from the existing premises”, 1. To agree the proposals and refer the application and this Report and any other required documents to the Mayor for London (Greater London Authority) under Article 5 of the Town and Country Planning (Mayor of London) Order 2008 (Category 1A, of the Schedule of the Order). 2 To agree that subject to no direction being received from the Mayor of London, to authorise officers to negotiate and complete a legal agreement under Section 106 of the 1990 Act (and other appropriate powers) to cover the principal matters outlined in Section 11 above including such other amendments as considered appropriate to ensure the acceptable implementation of the development. 4. To agree that if a satisfactory legal agreement has not been entered into by 6 May 2025, it is recommended that authority be delegated to the Director of Planning so they may: (a) refuse the application with appropriate reasons if the planning legal agreement (s106) is not completed or sufficiently progressed within six months of the Planning Committee meeting (the ‘Completion Target Date’); and
(b) authorise extensions to the ‘Completion Target Date’ where considered reasonable and proper to do so in the prevailing circumstances. |
