Councillor Hall declared a non-prejudicial interest as a Member of the Licensing Committee.

The Minutes of the Planning Committee (C) meeting held on 24 May 2012 were incorrect and not signed by the Chair.

The Planning Officer outlined details of the proposal.

Councillor Feakes arrived at 7:40 pm.

The Committee received verbal representation from Mr M Chandler of Green King Pub Company in support of the proposal and from a resident of 1 Eliot Cottages who raised concerns regarding windows to the rear of the building.

Councillor Long moved a motion to accept the officer’s recommendation to grant planning permission, which was seconded by Councillor Folorunso.

Members voted as follows:

FOR:                        Councillors, Folorunso, Hall and Long.

AGAINST:                Councillor Bell (Chair)

Councillor Feakes did not take part in the voting process.

RESOLVED           that Planning Permission be granted in respect of Application No. DC/12/79769 as revised, subject to Conditions as set out in the report.

The Planning Officer outlined details of the proposal and also reported to Members that an letter had been received from Kate Richardson, Chair of the Culverley Green Residents Association, who submitted a statement, which was tabled to Members before the meeting objecting to the proposal.

The Committee received verbal representations from Mrs P Ellis (owner), who addressed Members concerns to the proposal and from a resident of 64 Bargery Road, objecting to the proposal.

Councillor Long moved a motion to accept the officer’s recommendation to grant permission, which was seconded by Councillor Feakes.

Members voted as follows:

FOR:                        Councillors  Feakes, Folorunso, Hall and Long.

AGAINST:                Councillor Bell (Chair)

RESOLVED           that Planning Permission be granted in respect of Application No. DC/12/79439 as revised, subject to Conditions as set out in the report

The Planning Officer outlined details of the proposal.

The Committee received verbal representations from Liz Harts, Director of Arts Project, who read from a prepared statement in support of the application and from a resident of 135 New Cross Road, objecting to the proposal.

Councillor Bell (Chair) moved a motion to accept the officer’s recommendation to grant permission, which was seconded by Councillor Long.

Members voted unanimously in favour of the officer’s recommendation:

RESOLVED           that Planning Permission be granted in respect of Application No. DC/12/80173, subject to Conditions as set out in the report.

Councillor Long left the proceedings at 8:50 pm.

Councillor Bell (Chair) moved a motion to accept the officer’s recommendation to grant permission, which was seconded by Councillor Hall.

Members voted as follows:

AGAINST:           Councillor Feakes.

RESOLVED       that Planning Permission be granted in respect of Application No. DC/11/79054 as revised, subject to Conditions as set out in the report.
