RESOLVED that Councillor Bill Brown be elected Chair for the purposes of

this meeting only.

There were no declarations of interest.

Councillor Barnham asked the Committee to note one of the applicants was a

former Lewisham employee but he did not consider that knowledge to be a

declarable interest.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on February 26 2021 be

confirmed and signed as a correct record.

RESOLVED that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972,

the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of

business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt

information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) of the Act,

and the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public

interest in disclosing the information.

5. Appointment of Director of Families, Quality and Commissioning.

RESOLVED that Sara Rahman be recommended for appointment as Director

of Families, Quality and Commissioning and note be made that there was a

second appointable candidate.
