Minutes:

The Mayor announced the appointment of Cllr Ese Erheriene as the Cabinet Member for Business, Jobs and Skills.

 

The Mayor thanks Cllr Kim Powell for her hard work during the time that she served on the Cabinet and summarised some of Cllr Powell’s achievements.

Decision:

Cllr Walsh moved the recommendations, which were seconded by Cllr Eiles.

 

Cllrs Stamirowski, Harding and Burgess all spoke in favour of the proposal.

It was moved, seconded and unanimously RESOLVED that:

 

a)    the new Local Plan’s positive and rapid progress through the statutory independent examination in public process be noted; and

b)    the Inspectors’ Post-Hearing Letter/ communication, particularly in respect of the scope and content of the necessary Main Modifications, and the anticipated timetable for the remainder of the examination process and the path towards adoption be noted and welcomed; and

c)     the proposed Main Modifications to the new Local Plan, and its accompanying Integrated Impact Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessment be released for public consultation.
