Decision details

Having considered an officer report and a presentation by the Cabinet

Member for Finance, Skills and Jobs, Councillor Amanda De Ryk, the Mayor

and Cabinet agreed that:

(1) the 2019/20 to 2022/23 Medium Term Financial Strategy be endorsed;

(2) a further update be brought back as part of the cuts and budget setting

process to reflect any changes arising from the Autumn Budget or Local

Government Finance Settlement;

(3) the lifting of the Departmental Expenditure Permission (DEP) / Corporate

Expenditure (CEP) process take place except for those services that

overspent in 2017/18 and implementation be delegated to the Executive

Director for Resources and Regeneration; and

(4) the revised Treasury and Capital Strategies at Appendix 3 and 4 be

endorsed.
