The Executive Director for Community Services representative confirmed
permission to consider the report had been given by the Chair of the Overview
& Scrutiny Business Panel following a failure to give the public 28 days notice
of an item to be taken in private.
Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation from the
Cabinet Member for Health, Well Being & Older People, Councillor Chris Best,
Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts), for the reasons set out in the report:
RESOLVED that:
(1) CitySprint (UK) Ltd be appointed onto the new framework at a stated
potential total cost for member authorities over 4 years; and
(2) the Council call off from the new framework with effect from 1 April 2017
for an initial period of 12 months, with possible extensions for a further 3 years
at a stated total value for Lewisham over 4 years.
