Discussion on this item was chaired by Councillor Chris Best in the absence

of the Mayor.

Councillor Millbank received confirmation that the Collaboration led by PSLA

also included Beecroft Primary School.

Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation from the

Cabinet Member for Children & Young People, Councillor Paul Maslin, Mayor

and Cabinet (Contracts), for the reasons set out in the report:

RESOLVED that the contracts for the delivery of Children’s Centre services

be awarded for a period of three years with an option for the council to extend

the contracts for a period of up to a further two years, to:

(i) PSLA & Clyde (An area based provision covering Lots 1-4, in

partnership with school-based centres)

(ii) Downderry (school-based Children’s Centre delivering in Downham ward,

providing services in Lot 4 in partnership with PSLA & Clyde)

(iii) Eliot Bank and Kelvin Grove (School-based Children’s Centre

delivering in Sydenham and Forest Hill wards, providing service in Lot 3 in

partnership with PSLA & Clyde)
