Minutes:

RESOLVED that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972,

the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of

business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt

information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) of the Act,

and the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public

interest in disclosing the information.

Chief Executive Shortlisting

Minutes:

The Panel received advice from the Head of Organisational Development &

Human Resources; from a representative of Penna, a leading external

recruitment agency and from a former London Chief Executive, Andrew

Kilburn, who had particular experience of the requirements of the role.

 

Eleven longlisted candidates were considered and after debate, the Panel

agreed four candidates should be shortlisted for the final interview process.

 

The Panel further agreed their next meeting should take place on February 21

and that any positive recommendation agreed at that meeting should be

considered at a special meeting of the Council on March 14 2018.

 

RESOLVED that

 

(1) Four candidates be shortlisted for final interview; and

 

(2) The Panel should reconvene on February 21
