London Borough of Culture Bid

Back our bid to be London's next Borough of Culture in 2021.
We aim to make Lewisham the most dynamic and creative borough for residents and visitors alike. But we do need you to
get involved and back our campaign.
We almost did it
in 2018, and this year we’re giving an extra push to get
first place!  Two London boroughs will receive the award.
Each will get £1.35 million to run an ambitious cultural
programme in the winning year.

Over the coming months there will be lots of opportunities to get involved. For now please show your support by entering your details on the Back our bid web page www.lewisham.gov.uk/backourbid or email us on boroughofculture@lewisham.gov.uk with your ideas.

very little of you for a big impact. We meet to discuss local
issues that have been raised in our community, discuss how
to tackle them.

You will plan the agenda for the meeting and with
the assembly’s help, agree on how any community funding
should be spent.

The co group meet for 2 hours, 3-4 times a year, at Corbett Library - or you can always face time/ skype in as well if you can’t be there in person.

By joining the assembly Co Group you can make a huge difference to your area – please speak to Lucy Formolli at the Market place and register your interest. Lucy.formolli@lewisham.gov.uk @Love_Catford
