Contract Award Horniman Primary School
Decision: Having considered a confidential officer report and a presentation by the Cabinet Member for Children & Young People, Councillor Paul Maslin, the Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) agreed that:
(i) authority be delegated to the Executive Director Resources and Regeneration on the advice of the Head of Law to approve the award contracts for works at Horniman Primary School in a stipulated range of values for internal re-modelling which will allow the school to admit an additional 30 children to the 2015 Reception year group; and
(ii) should contracts exceed the stated limits, a report will be brought to Mayor & Cabinet (Contracts) for further consideration and approval.
Minutes: In answer to a question from Councillor Onikosi, the Head of Law confirmed that while the value of the works was above the financial threshold for classification as a key decision, this would take effect at the award stage when the delegated decision would be subject to the Scrutiny process.

Decision: Having considered an open officer report and a presentation by the Cabinet Member for Health, Well-Being & Older People, Councillor Chris Best, the Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) agreed that:
(i) authority be given to the Prevention and Inclusion Team to take up the option to extend the following contracts with attached annual funding:
(a) The Centrepoint Assessment Service for Young People – at a stipulated annual contract value;
(b) The Look Ahead Young Parent Service – at a stipulated annual contract value
(c) Single Homeless Project Young Person Floating Support Service – at a stipulated annual contract value;
(d) The One Support Honor Lea / Rokeby Mental Health Service – at a stipulated annual contract value;
(e) The One Support Older Person Floating Support Service – at a stipulated annual contract value;
(f) The Look Ahead Adults with Learning Disabilities Floating Support Service – at a stipulated annual contract value;
(ii) authority be given for the contracts to be extended to the end of March 2016; and
(iii) authority be given to vary the One Support Honor Lea/Rokeby, Older Persons Floating Service and the Look Ahead Learning Disability contracts by the values detailed.
