The Mayor noted that Matthew Eady was shortly to leave the employ of the

authority and he thanked him for all the work he had done for Lewisham.

Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation by the

Cabinet Member for Children & Young People, Councillor Paul Maslin, Mayor

and Cabinet (Contracts), for the reasons set out in the report:

RESOLVED that the School Kitchen Facilities Maintenance Contract be

awarded to Thermoserve for a period of two years and four months with an

option to extend for up to a further two years to make the contract

coterminous with the larger school meal catering contract and allow officers to

evaluate options for combining these services in future.
