Having considered a confidential officer report, and a presentation by the
Deputy Mayor, Councillor Alan Smith, Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) for the
reasons set out in the report:
RESOLVED that the preferred strategy for highway works contracts which will
commence from April 2019 be approved with an extension of the existing
Highways Maintenance and Planned Works (HMPW) contract from April 2019
until March 2021 and re-tendering the Footway and Resurfacing contracts to
commence from April 2019 and complete in March 2021.
