Document Men's Health Review - Response from Mayor and Cabinet

On 5 September 2007 the Mayor and Cabinet considered the Healthier Communities Select Committee report on ‘Men’s Health in Lewisham: a scrutiny review’ and agreed the following: RESOLVED that (i) the views of the Healthier Communities Select Committee set out in the report be noted; (ii) the Executive Director for Community Services be asked to advise accordingly in relation to responding to the issues and recommendations as detailed in the report; and (iii) a written response be provided to the Healthier Communities Select Committee to address the issues and recommendations included in the report and to include an action plan in the response setting out how the recommendations accepted will be implemented, when and by whom, with a named contact identified for each action point to enable the Select Committee to follow-up the outcomes of the review of Men’s Health in Lewisham. Attached to this report at appendix A is a table detailing the progress towards meeting the recommendations made by the Men’s Health review and the organisations responsible for actions.
